Dr.
Homesley, the newest addition to our staff, brings with him
a whole new dimension to our practice: minimally invasive
total joint replacements, a procedure largely unavailable
elsewhere in this area. Although Dr. Homesley practices general
orthopedics his specialty is adult hip and knee reconstruction.
A native of Winston-Salem, he comes to us after spending his
last six years training at Thomas Jefferson University in
Philadelphia, PA.
Education
Dr. Homesley earned his undergraduate degree from the University
of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his medical degree from
Wake Forest University School of Medicine, Bowman Gray, in
1997. He completed his Residency and Fellowship training in
Adult Reconstructive Surgery of the Hip and Knee at the Rothman
Institute, one of the premier joint replacement institutions
in the nation.

Dr. Homesley brings to our practice the same care and professionalism
with total joint replacements and general orthopedics that
we have rendered with sports medicine.
When not practicing medicine, David is an avid runner. He
enjoys golf, soccer, snow skiing, and waterskiing. He and
his wife, Natalie, have two sons, Jack age 4 and Alex is their
one year old.
